Our dedicated team is looking for a dynamic chef, who is passionate about cooking and willing to be a vital part in the kitchen team.  Your mission in this role is to deliver top quality, tasty and consistent food in a timely manner. You will also be required to provide function catering as required.

Your efforts will support the Ovation team to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients – and help us succeed as a business. This will involve:

• Preparing and cooking a wide range of dishes to a consistently high standard
• Running a meal service sole charge
• Baking a wide variety of sweet and Savoury items
• Menu development and function planning in conjunction with the Site Manager
• Achieving all safety, hygiene and food quality targets

What we are looking for

To hit the ground running, we are looking for:

• A proven ability to deliver high quality food in an industrial / corporate environment.
• Well-developed leadership skills
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Ability to take instruction from the Site Manager
• Constructive behaviours that are a positive example to others
• Ability to multitask and work as part of a team.
• Capability to work under pressure.
• Strong delegation and customer service skills
• The highest standards of food and occupational safety and hygiene
